The PCC Rail Authority relies on an analysis of the benefits/impacts of individual projects/actions or packages of projects when it makes recommendations regarding the acquisition, rebuilding, rehabilitating and improvement of rail lines. The benefits/impacts are evaluated for each of four groups of affected parties: 1) the State; 2) users (e.g., shippers); 3) carriers (e.g. railroads and ports); and 4) communities (e.g., growers and those directly affected by rail service to or through the community). The links below provide archived data that has been used to guide the PCC Rail Authority's efforts.
